I find artist statements to be a little challenging to write because I don't consider myself an artist per se. I don't have any formal training and I don't have a fancy art degree. I'm just a girl who loves to take portraits. I love to photograph women with a vintage twist, flowers and a good black and white never hurt anyone. I find myself being inspired by just about every thing around me from music, to dreams, spirituality or current events. I enjoy creating and setting the mood for a portrait, designing everything from the lighting to hair and makeup. I love the process of being hands on during a photoshoot. I also like to have fun while shooting, while keeping the vibe light and free. I do not like to put labels on my work, nor do I want to fit into a specific niche or genre. I just want to be free, create and to be me.
I currently make my bed in Jacksonville, Florida.
